Indoor grills?!
Thanks!
Answers: Do indoor grills really save you fat and calories? I was thinking about buying one to cook chicken with, usually I just bake it or cook it in a frying pan, but I had heard that George Forman and other indoor grills take out some of the fat. Is that true and is it worth the money?
Thanks!
the reason they "take out fat" is because the grill is tilted at a downward angle, making all the grease run off the grill and onto a "catch platter" (to be thrown away) i like my george foreman because its easy to clean and i can grill year round.
anyway...its no different than any other grill because the fat will just drip off between the grates of a regular grill, so its really your choice of outdoors or indoors :)
when i grill chicken on the george foreman ill grill it for about 15 minutes, then cover it in BBQ then bake it for 20 minutes it is aweseome
I think with things like hamburger it is more helpful at this than in chicken unless you have the skin on the chicken, then it may help. I am also looking for a grill or something to take camping to use outside but on a table. Tired of the too dried out over the fire grill lol. So, I think I will be buying one soon, am waiting for a sale. Good luck. I think it's quicker too because it cooks on both sides at the same time. That is a plus for me too.
its very true and worth the money, plus you dont have to dirty a bunch of dishes,it grills both sides and all the fat drips out,but its still juicy, just make sure you get the jumbo grill the other one is kinda small unless your cooking for 2 people, you will love it!also it is perfect for chicken breasts my boyfriends loves it better on the G F grill
Buy a stove top flat frying fan that has grill groves, it will do the same and cheaper. The oil will drip away from the meat. Drain the grease if it touches the meat and continue the cooking until done. Excellent for veggies also. Good luck in losing weight.
