Why does bread n butter?!
Answers: always fall butter side down?
Nine times out of ten when you're about to eat some bread, especially home made bread, you're really not that hungry and you just want a quick snack. you smell the bread all warm and inviting and then you cut a nice slab and spread the butter on. sometimes you'll even add jam to this wonderful treat. then, at the moment your mouth is watering in anticipation for the combined taste and warmth of the bread, it slips out of your hand right to the floor. Now, at this moment in time, your gut decides that it is really hungry and sad at the same time. you pick the bread up and check for dirt. (3 second rule) you decide that you just can't eat it off the floor and so you toss it in the trash and walk away feeling dejected and bummed out.
there is no logical explanation as to why the bread does this other than to give you a reason to make more or cut another piece.

because when you drop it, the butter side is much heavier so it will turn so that is on the bottom

Oh brother. Weight. Didn't Y!A show you this question asked many times before.... before you submitted it? I have a question though. Why on earth is this something you want to know? For the life of me, I don't see what one might gain from this bit of knowledge, even though the answer is pretty obvious. I must admit though... it never occurred to me to test this theory to determine if "always" would really be true.
Well I'd say using my scientific knowledge (hehe) that its because the side with the butter on is heavier....and i guess its just sods law!
You know, I saw Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel, they didn't come to the conclusion that bread always falls butter side down. Why don't you check out their website and see what their findings were.
