How many artificial sweetener packets do you use/consume a day?!
Answers: I just realized I use about 18 of them!! Between my 2 mugs of coffee in the morning, my 2 glasses of iced tea during the day and with dinner, and my 2 mugs of afternoon coffee, I am really using a lot of that stuff. What about you??
I got it down to 2 packets of Splenda a day. I drink 2 cups of coffee in the morning(2/3 coffee and 1/3 skim milk w/ 1 pack of Slpenda). I'm good for the rest of my shift. The rest is bottled water.
None.
Honestly if I had to count them. I'd say I'd had just about zero. I consume real sugar.
zero. That stuff is nasty.
I don't use artificial sweeteners at all. I either take sugar or skip it.
zero
None! And it is not good for you either!!
Try using Stevia, which is a natural extract from a plant. No calories, no carbohydrates, no cancer!!
It can be purchased at a health food store, Whole Foods, Wild Oats, etc. While it does come in packets (powdered), I prefer the liquids. There is a SteviaClear—these are way sweeter than the artificial sweetners—plus there are several yummy flavors that are so nice with coffee and/or tea.
Check this out, and do this for yourself!! This is be kind to yourself month. This is the brand I have used for years:

4-6 daily in coffee, etc.
I use one Equal packet in my coffee in the a.m., then I pour that coffee over ice and sip it all day, replacing the ice as it melts away so basically I'm still drinking the same cup of coffe 6 hours later, just way watered down and I almost never actually drink all the coffee since at suppertime I dump that out and start drinking water. And my doctor has the nerve to tell me I really ought to try drinking my coffee without any sweetener but since I don't eat sweets, I think one packet 4 or 5 days a week (I don't drink coffee on the weekends) is not bad enough to give it up (tried quitting coffee but desperately needed the caffeine and ended up drinking diet Coke--even worse for me so I went back to coffee).
You'd be better off with real sugar. You're taking in a lot of caffiene, too.
