Why do curries and pizza always taste better cold the next morning, but we would all complain if they were?!
Answers: served to us cold in a restaurant?
Hmmmm, the flavour gets to develop more overnight, yummy. Cold pepperoni pizza is my fave.
thats because when we eat it at home the next morning, we know that its good and how long it has been out but if it was sold cold at a restaurant, it may have been open for a long time, it could have been rejected by someone else and its basicaly not safe to eat.
lmao at your avatar! What's going on there???
Sitting overnight allows the herbs and spices to combine and really soak into whatever they are on. It's the same with chili and spaghetti (marinara) sauce; they always taste better the next day.
I don't accept the premise of your question. Curry and pizza do not taste better cold.
I am a former chef and like most things after cooking the flavour meld, a way of absorbing the other s in the dish, curry is best because it has more time for the spices to react, pizza is the dough, to fresh and the dough can be the biggest issue.
I am not much for pizza, it is to common here in canada, we have several difference ones, and most are the same, as for curry, chinese food and thai cuisine it just an matter of the ingredients have that much more time to mingle, I to make curry at home and find it better the next day all the time, whether I heat it hot or just lukewarm.
OOOOOH...NO....they taste better freshly cooked and are rank the next morning.....sorry to disagree
Because it's free extra food - and really nice! If we don't eat everything at a restaurant we just leave it but when you wake up and have some more gorgeous food it's a bonus.I think it might be like when you hear a song you haven't heard in ages and then next day you get it in your head.Same with food. You eat something the night before and your taste buds just know and so when you eat it again it is like listening to that good song again.OK I'm a bit drunk, but I think it's right anyways!
I'm sorry to disagree with you but that is something i just would never even contemplate doing yuck minging ,it barely tastes good heated never mind cold.
because in a restaurant it is meant to be served hot and if it isn't people would be dissapointed because it's not what they want. If it is left overnight spices and flavours have settled and gives it more taste
The flavours get a chance to mature and deepen and mix in curries and stews and homemade soups. Pizza no!
Mature curry tastes like magic. Please be careful eating curries more than 24hrs later. Always reheat properly. They are known to cause serious tummy upsets.
because you've got a hangover in the morning
