How long does garlic keep?!

Question: How do you know when it is going bad?

Answers: How do you know when it is going bad?

we leave our garlic in a dry place and it will go bad after about 2 weeks...it all kinda depends on how fresh the garlic is that you have bought and how you store it. Once it gets soft and when you peel it and it has spots on it (from rotting) then obviously its time to throw it out, but if you don't like to use your garlic once it starts to sprout nad is kinda woody, we like to actually plant ours in a big flower pot...then we have garlic chives that can be thrown into soups, potatoes...etc...they are really good.

When it starts to grow.

i don't use it when it becomes soft.

When you will see your garlic sprouting or it has changed in color.

well it can rot after a few days if kept in a moist place,or it can ddry out or grow. to keep fresh garlic peel and mix in oil.

Garlic usually just dries up...or it starts to sprout...
Keep it in the fridge in a paper bag in the crisper drawer...it'll last the longest that way.....
