U think is it ok to eat this frozen food??? Please answer!!?!
We cheked after light was back and, though things in fridge are still ok, there is a little bit (very little) of frozen water in the freezer (so, at some point it reached over 0 degrees) (but prob. not long enough...)
Well, im still keeping the frozen food, and it looks good. But im a bit conscious about eating it. Will somebody please tell me if it is ok to eat it??
I dont want to throw away all that money!!
Answers: Hey guys, i had just bought loads of food (minced, chiken, prawns and fish) and put it in the freezer just two days before the blackout. It lasted approx. 24 hrs, but we didnt open the freezer.

It sound alright as you kept it in the freezer and it was basically still frozen when the power went back on- I would still eat it if it smelt ok and looked ok after thawing!
YES its ok to freeze food
its a way of proserving it, it can't cause any harm
my only suggestion is don't eat it froozen!!!
(and properly cook your meat to provent food poising)
If the food was still frozen there should be no problem.
It sounds as if things started to defrost but it doesn't sound as if there was enough time for that to have happened.
If it was still frozen when the power came back on , it should be OK.
As long as it stayed cold and then refroze it is OK to eat.
well d0n't e@t it y0u c@n e@t c@n g0od$
i dont think itz spoilt,,,,
nyway if its marienated dont eat i mean dont cuk it its poisonous
but if its raw cuk n eat n hav a great meal.....
What condition was it in when you saw it after the blackout? If still frozen / hard, it should be OK. Otherwise best avoid it, unless you can eat it fried / well done
