3-Year Old SweetTarts - Too Old to Eat????!

Question: I just found 3-yr old sweet tarts in my drawer that I forgot I had. Is that too old to eat? I couldn't find an expiration date...but I was just curious if that's too long?

Since sugar is a preservative and they're practically pure sugar, I'm guessing they're probably fine to eat.

I would toss them...you can always get more.

no, do not eat them..they are antiques.

well, it's super hard candy so it may be safe...not like it's chocolate or caramel or anything...i'd say taste one of them...they probably tastes the same if they were just made.

It's sugar...it rarely goes bad. If you were thinking clearly, you would have called poison control by now.
