Why after I have dinner do I want something sweet?!

Question: It wasnt a habit as a child. I dont smoke and quit a long time ago.
Last night I had 4 mini reeses bar after my 'healthy dinner' - this isnt good.

I don't know how old you are, but around 25-30 women actually go through a hormonal change that gives us that craving. Sounds stupid I know. I have never really been sweet eater in all my life and a few years back I started doing the same thing. Just a mini candy bar or a couple Hersey kisses will do it. I wish i could give a source. I heard this on Oprah from doctor Oz.

Guilty pleasure. I love it. Just looked at your profile. I just spent 8 days sailing through the Grenadines. It was one of my most incredible experiences. I have also spent some time in Trinidad. Where are you ?

its your treat instead of a smoke

if you can quit smoking you can quit this habit as well

all the best

Let me know the next time you want something sweet and I'll be right over!?!

It has something to do with the way your brain functions - after you eat dinner, a savory meal, your brain craves something sweet to let it know that that is the end of the meal. If you don't have it, you'll just want to keep eating regular food. Having something sweet after a meal is your body's way of telling your brain that it's time to stop eating. It's a satisfactory thing!
