What were people eating 1,000 years ago?!

Question: Meat that they probably caught themselves, vegetables and homemade bread. There was no such thing as processed foods or McDonalds 1000 years ago. McDonalds only came on the scene in the late 1940's or 50's actually

In 1007, people were eating wild animals and farm raised animals...goats, sheep, elk, deer, pigs, cows, seafood.

plants - all sorts of fruits, nuts and veggies.

Food (it was just time, I am due one a day sorry)

stones and other people

Fruits, vegetables, maybe wild boar, fish. Think basic...living off the land! That's what they had to do, there weren't supermarkets or butcher shops back then!

whatever they could find mostly

They had plenty to eat, fruits, vegetables, nuts , Barrie's, and anything hey could hunt, When you have to survives you will always find something. I bet the ate very well.
