After it has been allowed to cool. Unless the egg is placed directly in the sun or becomes hot, it will not spoil very soon.
When in doubt, place the egg in a bucket (pan, whatever) of water; if it floats, it is spoiled.
Of course, when you crack the egg, if it is discolored, don't eat it. But, eggs do not spoil easily or rapidly; otherwise, there would be no chickens (or other egg-layers).

I dont think so... when I was in spain they didnt refridgerate eggs and my grandmother said it was because they do not use any preservatives. So I think we refridgerate eggs because of the preservatives we add to them to ship them but I am no expert on eggs. Good luck!

after a hen laid an egg it takes a few sec to hearden ,you don't know how long the egg has been there .You just wash it off and put it in the freg. If you find it within a few hours it shoud be fine.
