What gives Galaxy chocolate that distinctive flavour that makes it very different from Cadburys chocolate?!

Question: Is it coconut?

Answers: Is it coconut?

Don't know, but I know exactly what you mean, it has a more silky texture.

They do a bar in Aldi, which has a similar taste and at 53p it's very good value!

Hope this helps, off to raid the choc cupboard now and it's not even Friday. x
;)

Ohh i would say more milk as it is a creamier chocolate

No, its the Mice in the Factory........

I always prefered Cadbury's. Galaxy was new when I was a kid and I didn't like it so much because it was less sweet.

The difference is between cotton and silk

Hehehe i have the Galaxy smooth here with me its so tasty i would love to share with you

I think that it has a higher fat content

its probably a secret recipe so hard to tell

Oh u had to get me thinking about that!

They use different blends of cocoa, sugar, milk in their processes, giving each there unique taste.

I don't know but it will never taste as nice as Cadburys. I guess it it the taste you grow up with, I am not into Galaxy, it's OK but give me good old Cadburys every time and as for the posh chocolate, can't stand that.. Usually I go for the best but with chocolate, I go for the plastic variety.. with bread I go for brown and 'good for you' hubby sticks with plastic bread (white sliced) Hey, each to his own, I say.. *s*

No, it's not coconut. Galaxy is creamier so I expect they use more milk and less cocoa. I don't know really, gotta be something to do with the blend anyway
