Please can somebody tell me why ketchup have exact that name KETCHUP??? :))))?!

Question: I think its because when they started to bottle it, the owner of the first factory who bottled itwas drunk and accidently wrote and approved the name Ketchup on the bottle and then its been that way ever since

it has something to do with the town they invented it in. i know it used to made out of fish though! lol

I believe the actual spelling or an alternate spelling is Catsup, and it's pronounced ketchup. But here's a website to tell you it's origin lol
