Answers: someone told me that you can eat the wrapper

Nope! I was wondering the same thing before- Me and my friend looked it up the other day and the website deemed it false. The wrapper is made out of rice paper but that does not mean its edible- it still has all the chemicals that are found in other wrappers and are not meant to be ingested.
Don't eat the wrapper with the gum!! :o

No

Yes it is true
I tryed it to see = ]

I don't know... I know some people who do but I prefer to keep paper out of my mouth... Eck!
Also wouldn't it thin out the gum and make it all nasty...
I wouldn't do it but if you want too try it!

Kind of. I've done it. It's edible but it doesn't taste good and gives the gum a nasty texture. Like at firsts all clumpy and gross then after a few minutes it's like liquid and sticky and ew. lol. I don't recommend trying it.

TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive tried it myself, and its kinda good lol

No my 10yr old did it, he was mad it's a myth !

I just put the entire piece of gum including wrapper in my mouth and it didn't feel right! Although the wrapper seemed to get mushy and you really couldn't tell you were eating paper since the gum is so strong, I just couldn't bring myself to keep chewing. I can't believe I tried this! LOL.

Although.....if the gum manufacturers are reading this, perhaps they SHOULD make an edible wrapper...maybe similar to those breath strip thingys!

they used to say that about trident when i was a kid. i don't think it hurts you but i think it's just one of those things people say.

you can do anything you want. but i dont know if you want to eat the wrapper. i would imagine that it's made out of stuff that's not meant to be consumed by people. plus, i don't think it would taste too good.
