Which side of the aluminum foil is the right side?!
Ive heard that you are supposed to use the shiny side to wrap things that you want to store in the freezer and the dull side for things that you just want to keep fresh for a short time or throw in the fridge. Does both sides have the same affect so that it doesnt matter? If thats the case why isnt both sides shiny or both sides dull. -.-' Geez I rarely think about things like this but my friend bought it up and now its stuck in my head lol.
Tell me what you think and get 5 shiny stars if it makes sense!
...
that may be hard to do lol
Thanks in advance!!

They actually answered this question on an episode of Good Eats on food network. Alton Brown said the reason for one side being shiny and one being dull is merely due to the way the foil is made and there is no difference... However I still adjust shiny side (depending on the use) out of habit =)
I have a friend that works for a company that makes it. And there's NO difference between sides. Both sides are the same.
the right side is the side that you didn't put on the table after you ripped the sheet off...
I wrap shiny side in, no matter what. My thought is, that all of the cold will be trapped inside, somehow. You know, like those silver reflective blankets? The heat gets trapped inside, so the cold should, too. Maybe it works, maybe not.
i don't think there's a diffrence, it's just foil.
