Crab-meat contains Omega-3 fatty acids which nutritionists and health professionals have long recommended omega-3's for the benefits: they provide for cardiovascular health, more recent studies show that omega-3 plays an essential role in other body functions such as brain development, inflammatory conditions, eyesight, pregnancy health, depression and overall mental well-being. While studies continue, it is increasingly clear that adding Omega-3 to your diet can help keep you physically and mentally vital throughout your various life stages.
I doubt it but I sure do love crabcakes.
Don't count on it and by your avatar posting message the proof is already prevalent.
Crab meat is almost 50% Cholesterol making it one of the worst foods which can highly contribute to heat disease through blood clots and or strokes and plaque build-up.
If your a Bush supporter though,...bon apetit.
The best brain food is lecithin, since the brain consists of ganglia, which in turn consist of neurons. A neuron is like a coaxial cable, a hot dog with a spider web strand going up the middle and coming out the ends to branch out and form synapses with the next neuron. 99% of the weight of a neuron is the axon (the hot dog). And that axon consists 90% of exactly lecithin. I have found that if I gulp down about 4 tablespoons of Fearn's Liquid Lecithin, it does my brain a whole lot of good. The next best food could be ice cream, since it contains both of the only two foods that the brain can use directly -- L-Tryptophan and sugar. Both are probably better than fish. Perhaps the legend is an old fishwive's tale.
Think about 'crab cakes' again and you will be overrun by my brothers and sisters and there are some big mean SOB's out there in my waters.
Oop's I thought this was in Polls and Surveys. lmao
