Only when there is a special offer for free delivery! Then I do a huge shop with all the heavy items. I love it. It's a real luxury for me. Plocket, there is an option at checkout to refuse alternatives so if you tick that, you'll be ok. I never tip.

x. use e-vouchers all the time, never tip the driver. x

And you think Americans have problems, we get off our lazy azzez and shop for ourselves.

I would love to get my shopping delivered but alas none of the supermarkets will deliver here on Skye, one day maybe.

have used tesco a few times....good helpful service...didnt tip the driver...and never heard of an e voucher...thanx :)

I only get deliveries when I am really short of time simply because you really don't get what you want.
I don't tip the driver - I figure I am paying a £5 for it anyway.
I never realised there were e-vouchers.

Are you a cheating market researcher?!!!

I used to get my groceries delivered by Tescos but gave up because too often they weren't giving me what I wanted and providing inappropriate alternatives. And I never tipped the driver.

no and i would not

Not now, had a few bad experiences, asked for fresh chicken they claimed they never had any so it was substitued with a bag of bean sprouts!!!, also noticed that some of the food was rotten on delivery and most of the fresh food was v close to its sell by date.

Now I go to the local market for fish cheese and bread, the local butcher for all my meats, the quality is so much better and works out cheaper.

I do have to go to the dreaded supermarket for basic groceries tinned stuff etc but only because they have priced local retailers out of the area!

Beware, the conglomerates are taking over!!!

im not lazy enough to get it delivered, i go myself :)

I do not because I can not afford to even though I would love to. Yes I would tip the driver as I do anyone who does something for me. ie waitress pizza delivery guy and so on.

Eh No luv i go to the shops and get it. get some exercise!

no i do not get my groceries dielivered.

Yes, Mostly the heavy stuff as I do not drive. Found Ocado the best for quality. Sainsbury's often cheaper but not so careful -eg, loose tomatoes at bottom of box a bit squashy, spinach flattened under the heavy stuff, so only good for soup.
Don't tip driver. Ocado charge £6, J Sainsbury £5 .
Didn't know about e vouchers.

Hell I barely feed my family and all my friends that need help much less afford to have the food delivered, Happy for U but fruit alone costs me 20 or 30 dollars every two wks.

every week from Rewe
and always give a tip

I order a delivery from Tesco every week. Never thought to tip the driver but will do at Christmas.

No.

No
but I wouldn't tip the driver if I did
I'd use Waitrose, certainly not Tesco or Asda because I care about British farmers

asda
its great
i use the free delivery discount voucher they email me

I don't have a car... and every couple of months I buy "supplies" - dry goods - and have them delivered and don't tip the delivery person.
For the fresh stuff I take my cart with me to the supermarket and carry it all - milk, eggs, meat or fish, etc...- home on my own.
