What shall i have?!
Answers: I went out last night and had way too much to drink!!! This morning i feel empty!! What shall i have to eat that will make me feel alive?? lol x
You cannot beat a fry up to cure a hangover. Alternatively if you're at work and can't get out for a fry up, get yourself a bacon and egg or sausage sandwich and wash it down with a bottle of full fat coke or orange lucozade. Works for me everytime x

Good bit of cheese on toast! Like the cathedral cheese ad!!!!! Yum
Me too, shall we suffer together while eating a fry-up?
Toast with a little butter, lots of honey. Plenty of fluids will help.
Cheese toastie
Beans on toast and a beer
a toasted bologna and peanut butter sandiwich.........mmm....
A cold can of coke and a fry up.
A big greasy breakfast that has more than your daily requirement of sodium
A mug of water!
Don't touch tea, coffee or soft drinks.
Also, try this.
It doesn't take up much time and the preparation helps you wake up.
Chop one onion and cook it for 2 minutes.
Meanwhile, chop one rasher of bacon and add that to the onion. This should brown up nicely. Add a teeensy bit of ketchup and mustard (mustard if you wish but the ketchup is a must) and leave to cool.
Put 1 potato (pricked a few times with a knife and wet) in the microwave for 5 minutes, turning it halfway through for even cooking.
Then, rub it with oil and salt and bake it in a pre-heated oven at 7 degrees cels.
After about 15-20 mins, take the potato out, cut it in half and scoop out the insides.
Place the soft potato into another bowl and mash.
Keep the skins ensuring they are still intact.
Into the potato, add grated cheese (ensure there is some grated cheese left) and the bacon mixture.
Add a bit of salt and pepper.
Stir.
Scoop this mixture back into the potato skins and add the leftover grated cheese on top.
Bake these for 5 mins until bubbly and golden.
Enjoy!!!
My aunt made this for me and my cousin the morning after "that night before" and it was such a Godsend.
I never asked her for the recipe but it was hardly difficult as I watched her make it (through bleary eyes!)
I know it doesn't sound very breakfasty but I've found, through experience, that breakfast foods mostly do NOT help with hangovers.
You need something filling and cereal is NOT that, lol.
Oooh, p.s. you can also add chopped peppers into the bacon and onion mix and brown that too. It hads a subtle kick accompanied by the mustard.
Jacket potato and tuna, I read it in a magazine last week.
Supposed to be the best food for a hangover because of the mix of protein and carbs.
Failing that, a thick milkshake always does it for me : )
you need bread definately and maybe water or juice
Fish and chips
