How many times a day on average is a 1.5 litre kettle filled?!

Question: 4 employees and a 9-5 working day. How many times on average is the kettle filled up? Going on the basis that each employee has a cup at the same time and because of this, the kettle is refilled each time. Drinking out of 1/2 litre mugs.

Ok so you have 4 employees. say you have a cuppa upon entering work then the kettle is filled once, then say that each employee fills the kettle to make each staff member a brew when they have their break then: 4 staff members=4 breaks each fills the kettle on their break. so I would say that the kettle may be filled on average 5 times a day with 4 employees.
