Beef, Chicken, Pork or Seafood, Which is the most beneficial for your health?!

There is no substitute for balance, variety, and moderation when it comes to your diet. Yes, seafood and fish in general does provide omega 3 fatty acids. However, there is also some debate about the level of contaminants including mercury that it contains. Chicken if prepared in a healthy manner (grilled or baked with minimal added fats) is an excellent choice too. Of the choices listed beef typically contains more iron than the rest and for women this is particularly important. From a health stand point all of the above are good choices in moderation with proportion taken into consideration.

Seafood (like salmon) is very beneficial to one's health due to omega 3 fatty acids which are good for your heart. I'm not sure which is the best, but overall, fish is pretty healthy.

Seafood is good, it is label as brain food, and it is good for your thyroid since it has natural iodine in it.

Beef it ok once a while, but lean is better.

Pork is good if you use the white meat.

Chicken is good.

Protein is good our body needs it to live in order to survive.
Making a salad and veggies goes well with any of the food that you have listed.

Fish for the Omega

Lean cuts of meat (trimmed of fat, chicken skin removed) are excellent choices. However, fat often contributes to the flavour of food, so a steak that has marbled fat will taste better (and cost more money) than a lean steak (a small marbled steak once in awhile is not bad for us). Pork is also good if it is lean, and chicken is excellent. The key, really, is to eliminating as much animal fat as we can. Seafood (salmon and most fin fish) are very good choices, and they contain the good fats that we need. However, shellfish (lobster, shrimp, etc.) -- even though they might be low in fat and high in protein -- can elevate cholesterol levels and should be enjoyed in moderation.

Chicken, salmon and tuna fish are good. Because they are good! :)
