What is the shelf life of Dry Spring Roll Skins?!
Answers: They are the Vietnamese Red Rose Brand and I've had them tightly wrapped for a few years....Should I buy new ones to make my spring rolls tomorrow? I hate to waste food.....
Provided you've kept them dry and out of direct sunlight and free from insects/rodents/vermin, you should be fine. They are a dried product and therefore not going to deteriorate. Test one to be sure that you don't get any "bitter" or "rancid" flavor, just to be sure - a few years is a LONG time! :) As with almost any food product, buy what you need, use what you buy to avoid the waste factor...Good luck! :)
Do you see molds in it? Has it become flaky? If not, it's still okay to use it.
