How do they get the seasoning inside the pistachio shells?!

Question: It blows my mind.

Answers: It blows my mind.

They boil them in salt water, roast, most shells pop open, then salt them again. And the insides are not as seasoned as you think.... but your fingers that get the nut out and feed it into your mouth ARE! :-)

They soak them in a brine. And aren't most of your shells partly open?

Its amazing how much powdered seasoning will get inside a partially opened shell :-)
