i know you can put basically any kind of fruit/fruit syrup on it but is there anything else you can think of?

I have to admit, nothing better than and ice cream sandwich made with waffles.
blueberries
strawberries
apples
peanut butter
two words - ice cream
Chocolate shavings and whipped cream...yum
you can put blueberries strawberries chocolate chips all kinds of things just be creative.
Wow- I love putting butter and syrup on my waffles, and your right fruit is good. It would be interesting to try different flavors of jam. I hope you find something tasty. =)

This may sound weird, but yogurt is really good on waffles-not to mention healthy. I prefer strawberry...
Waffles can be great both sweet and savory. Fruit is one of my favorite but here are some other ideas.
waffle ice cream sundaes
peanut butter
chicken and gravy
corned beef hash
use them instead of bread for a sandwich
Reuben
cream cheese and jelly
wrap around a sausage
chicken and dumplings
chicken a la king
country gravy
cinnamon sugar
powdered sugar and lemon juice
