i've bought the tesco brands before,my trolley was full of blue and white,lol:-) then i tried lidl,and the beans were stodgy as hell, no juice, and as a girl who doesnt like dryness i went back to heinz lmfao:-)

The home brand is just as good as Heinz, the value ones are horrible.
Pour off the sauce anyway, better for you. High in fibre low in fat and cheap as ...well, home brand baked beans.
Yeah I've probably bought them I try all the unbranded ones, some are ok, no point in wasting money on stuff if an unbranded version measures up in my opinion
No, but the tinned tomatos are great value. Normally you get six decent sized toms, whereas if you get the Italian styled variety, you only get four, and at twice the price to boot.
because some people are on a budget, Ive tried them sure i admit there not grate but good if your moneys really tight i do normally buy the home brands, the value brands are okay though depends what your buying - and i do think brand names are overpriced why pay more when you don't have too - 9 out of 10 times the home brand is an acceptable alternative for those on a tight budget.
The value ones are floating in water I swear. GAG! I happily buy normal tesco ones though.
Id rather buy Branston ones - at the moment theyre 4 for ￡1!
Not the value ones but have had Tesco brand beans before. They are probably made in the same factory anyway, just got different labels on
