Turkey or Baked Chicken ?!

Question: I am trying to decide which should I cook for Thanksgiving.
Of course there will be a turkey in my house during that
time. But I was thinking of a side dish main course.
Or annexation of food. I plan to make a fried turkey this
week. But I was wondering about baked chicken with herbs.
They both are fantastic pieces of food. If done correctly.
But this one is tough. Because I really like herbed bake
chicken, and gravy. Then again, that fried turkey with
seasoning salt if outstanding. If you haven't tasted it yet,
then do yourself a favor, and try it. It will blow you away !
So, which one do I make this year for Thanksgiving ?
Turkey of baked chicken ? Which do you prefer ?
Best answer wins. Gobble, gobble, gobble. *

I say turkey all the way! ;-)

You've got me hungry for that turkey!

Make them both. My sister makes a fried turkey and one cooked traditionally in the oven. So fry a turkey and cook the chicken in the oven.

That is tough to decide, depending on how many guest you are going to have i would do both and give you guest a opition between the two, which sound really good and tastey right. It is always good to have more than one choice at a holiday gathering.

Why not make both

I'd go with the fried turkey for Thanksgiving and then the traditional roast turkey for Christmas. Yum!

I would definately make the Turkey, and fried is oh so yummy. Its tradition to have turkey for thanksgiving, chicken is good but to me its somehting that can be had year round and not to special.
