There are some cases where frozen food is actually quite healthy for you. For example, frozen vegetables and fruits.

What you mention, however, are the processed foods that come in the box. Not every case is the same. Check the labels for any trans fats (partially hydrogenated oils) for a start.

Oven baked white meat only chicken nuggets with no trans fats are far healthier for you than deep fried McNuggets. Same goes for the oven baked fries.

Study the labels on the boxes in the frozen food aisles and you'll be able to choose the healthy alternatives very quickly.

No. I'm not sure but I like frozen food. Like the kind Banquet.

The process of freezing fresh vegetables and fruit grown by oneself, to me is not unhealthy. The buying of manufactured foods that are precooked and methods when they are cooked, that you are talking about, may be unhealthy because of the ingredients and preservatives used just to make the food last longer, even before the freezing process takes place, before you even purchase it in the grocery store.

I DEFINITELY Consider it bad !! It is all loaded with preservatives and chemicals to make it look good, last longer & taste good.

I make my own and freeze it... I know exactly what is going in mine. I don't do fast food either... years ago I witnessed some horrible things going on at numerous fast food chains.

*cough*hack*

I use fresh veggies all the time but frozen ( even if I freeze my own) is convenient for when you don't have much time to prepare.

As for frozen food in stores, I tend to find them paperish in taste. It depends what it is really.
