Is this extremely unhealthy?!
Answers: I don't eat breakfast in the morning. I don't eat lunch during the day, either. I usually eat when I come home after the day. I know everyone says that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but I don't feel hungry at this time at all. Is it extremely unhealthy to eat this way?
Yes you need to eat breakfast in the morning. I used to never eat breakfast in the morning until I developed hypoglycemia (the condition of having chronically low blood sugar). Then I had to start eating breakfast especially during the week; when I have to get up early and go to classes and work thereafter. I was diagnosed with this when I was 16 and I am 21 now and I still struggle with it but by eating a nutritious breakfast even if it is nothing but a special K granola bar it helps to keep me regulated during the day and then I don't get to eat lunch until around 12:30 and I eat a sensilbly light lunch and then I eat supper around 6:30. Sometimes I wake-up in the morning feeling a little nauseous due to seasonal sinus problems and the fact I have acid reflux too; and could care less about eating but after I do eat it helps to keep my acid flare ups down because sometimes if you don't feel hungry or feel a little nauseous you still should eat a few bites of something because it helps your body to wake-up and also wakes your metabolism up too; in order for your body to get the energy it needs to get the day started and for you to be able to function better at getting your daily activities done also. I would recommend eating a granola bar, a bowl of cereal, or 2 scrambled eggs with some toast on the side, or if you have a Macdonalds where you live then stop by there on your way to work and pick up a sausage and biscuit to eat on the way. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so you should at least eat something to get the day started off right. And also if you suffer from a lot of headaches this could be a contributing cause to thoes I also used to suffer from a lot of thoes too until I started making myself take a few minutes to eat something for breakfast each day.
depending on your weight. If your not hungry and you are not tired during the day you should be fine.
yes it is definitely unhealthy yo eat this way because when you don't eat in the morning your not feed your brain with the energy it needs so eat breakfast lunch and dinner if you want to be healthy
It's probably fine as long as you eat when you are hungry.
yah
you actually should eat in the morning because even though you don't feel hungry your body is, it then turns your muscle into food to feed your brain, if you eat regularly your body will naturally feed on the food you eat and exercise regularly as well you won't gain weight either.
You need at least three meals a day. One meal a day just slows down your metabolism and will make you gain weight. You might wanna consider eating three meals a day from now on.
If we skip breakfast, we are likely to become tired when our brains and bodies run low on fuel. By mid-morning, a lot of us grab a cup of coffee or wolf down a sugary candy bar to wake up again. This might work for a few minutes, but by lunch time we are hungry, crabby, and perhaps our mood might make us a little more prone to making unhealthy choices at lunch. Eating a good breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day.
Many people believe that they will lose weight if they skip meals, but that just isn't true; the body expects to be refueled a few times a day, starting with a healthy breakfast. Eating breakfast is good for weight loss. In fact, people who eat breakfast are more likely to maintain a healthy weight.
It's not extremely unhealthy, but it IS unhealthy.
YOu have to take your daily intake of vitamins and minerals, and eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, meat, etc.
I used to eat like that in the past when I had a stressful job (I'll finish every work related matter first before I sit down to eat). But now I eat three times a day plus snacks. Its a matter of habits. You don't feel hungry during the day because you ate a huge dinner at night. But small frequent meal is better for health and well being. And I didn't gain weight from switching to three meals a day instead of one.
You've been asleep all night, you wake up in the morning & your body needs refueled. You definately need your breakfast. I used to eat the same as you are now. Believe me,you will feel better with more energy when you eat more & smaller meals.
Yes it is very unhealthy. Your body needs fuel (food) to operate throughout the day. If you are not feeding it then it goes into starvation mode and starts using the muscle as fuel and then when you do eat your body out of preservation will turn everything into fat to store for the next starvation period. So here is the damage it causes over time, elevated cholesterol, clogged arteries, low blood sugars, loss of brain function, cellular damage, kidney damage and loss of muscle definition which can lead to unprotected bones and easier fractures and broken bones. Also your metabolism will slow with age and if you are in a habit of eating in this manner can lead to rapid weight gain in your geriatric years.
Try to at least drink a glass of juice and have a bowl of high fiber cereal within an hour of waking and lunch at least a PB&J, milk and a handful of carrots.
You really should eat something during the day.
It isn't necessary to eat first thing in the morning, though.
Take an apple, carrots, or some other handheld food to snack on late in the morning.
Even if you aren't hungry, a few bites will be good for you.
Make sure you are drinking enough water though. A 20 ounce water bottle in the morning is a must to keep from getting dehydrated.
Take a multivitamin every day to make sure you get some nutrients.
I don't know how unhealthy it is, it might mess up your metabolism. I'm just the opposite of you. I stopped eating at dinner time, cause I want to see if it improves my workout, since I workout in the evening and I take in all my calories and energy during the day (breakfast and lunch)
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, cause by this time, most people haven't eaten in about 9 to 12 hours and breakfast jump starts your days with vitamins and minerals
