Have you tried this with peanut butter?!
Answers: Spoon 1 heaping tablespoon onto a small plate. Pour some white syrup, like Karo syrup onto the peanut butter and stir until creamy and spreadable. Spoon some of the mixture onto an opened warm biscuit. It is delicious. When we were kids, this was a treat for us after dinner, with left over biscuits. I wondered if anyone else had tried it.
My dad used to do this all the time when I was growning up. I always thought it was something he had dreamed up. What a small world. My wife got to have some one day a few years ago and loved it, she would make it all the time out here in NC. It is very fat ting but it has a taste to die for. I guess one would if they got enough of it. He also would put honey in his coffee. I guess growning up during the big D makes one come up with all kinds of ways to make do. I used to have a list of old recipes from the big D. Some are in fact very good. BTW I grew up in KS now 51. Thanks for the memories.
i have not tried this. it sounds good. try this; take this mixture and heat it up in the microwave for about 24 seconds and pour it over vanilla ice cream. thats good.
Mix the peanut butter with honey.
