Can Dogs eat pears?!

Question: what sort of fruits are forbidden to dogs?

Answers: what sort of fruits are forbidden to dogs?

First off, don't let your dog eat too much of any fruit as it really causes the stool to get mushy and potentially very messy....I recently heard that grapes and raisins have caused kidney failure in a few dogs. It would make sense with the enormous levels of fructose in them. Yeah pears are a nice treat for dogs...

I don't know about pears but everyday my dog gets an apple, I put it in my mouth and let him take it out, he'll play around with it for ages before he eventually eats it!

Yes dogs can eat a cut up pear. The only fruits they shouldn't eat are grapes or any type of citrus fruit.

just not the pit
avocados are hard for their tongues unless chopped up
but some say it is nut not fruit
most dogs don't like citrus

Dogs can eat pears and any other fruits they want. Most dogs won't touch lemons or limes. The only human food that dogs must not be given is chocolate. I know they love it but they must not eat any as it is really not good for them.

I heard grapes are not good for a dog. And 3-4 oz. of chocolate is of course not healthy for a day.
