I actually think it is true, isn't that disgusting? But maybe cricket and dead trantulas do make a good breakfast, lunch, and dinner...
yes they eat like these ants that are 3 inches long. a missionary told me that they tasted like lemons.
yup! it IS tru I've heard of that MANY MANY times and saw a report on it on a cooking channel:)
Don't know about Thais, but many people around the world eat many different types of insects and consider them very tasty.
The practice is called entomophagy. Very common in Central and South America, Africa, Asia and Australia.
Many different cultures enjoy serving up different kinds of insects/bugs including Thai. For alot of them, it's part of there staple diet. Even here in North America, there are places where you can sit down and enjoy baked ants, deep fried scorpions and tarantulas (spiders). Just recently on City TV, they were serving all of the above and there was quite a few people that tried them. ENJOY.
If you consider cockroach and crickets insects, then yes, it's true
Depends on what's a favorite dish - it's seen as a snack and you can find it on the food trolleys on the streets of Bangkok even.
probably. yummy!!!!

Dear,
To my knowledge the answer is "NO". They are beautiful people and their customs and cultures are wonderful. Thailand is a Wonderful Nation. The King of Thailand is the most longest Ruler in the world. The King of Siam know as "RAMA". The official religion is Buddhist. There are lots of Muslim in the Southern region. They are real Muslims and really follows God's order.
I thing your question may hurt the Siam people.
