I like salty food.
I don't like the smell of Korean or India foods nor the smell or taste of foods containing garlic
good luck
I suspect that is because Americans eat too much processed food. And salt acts as a preservative to give processed foods a longer shelf life (can be stored at room temperature for long periods of time).
I myself restrict my salt intake to keep my blood pressure low.
That's why I don't but grocery store meat. They use salt as a preservative and ruin the meat.
