Have you ever cooked something that made other people sick.?!

Question: No,thank goodness, but I have had people make fun of me because I am VERY meticulous about the proper methods for food storage, food handling, and food preparation (cooking). I always wash my hands alot while handling foods and I make sure that everything is done and not raw such as hamburger, steaks, chicken etc...

no thank god

literally sick?....no, thank god. But I have made some not so tasty meals. Cooking is all about experimenting

No not at all except for a few that were allergic to somethings. They should have informed me of their allergies! I've made meals that made me sick and I've never saved that to anyone! Cooking is all about experimenting once you can handle the way cooking is done normally!
I taste what I cook except for meat! I'm vegetarian. I'll cook meat for someone but won't eat it! Always know what the food you serve tastes like before you serve it! A good cook never serves a bad dish!

No thank goodness. But I once served a dinner only to discover a Caterpillar on the guys plate. I haven't ate broccoli since.

Yes!
We named it the " North/South Cheesecake " I made it many years ago for my Mother's Birthday.

The bottom layer was chocolate cheesecake, then a layer of creamy sticky caramel, then on top a layer of plain cheesecake. All drizzled with melted chocolate and creamy caramel.

When I went to cut it at the table, the top half slid on the caramel layer and headed north, while the bottom half headed south.
It was soo nice that we all ate too much and it was so rich that we made ourselves sick.

I think next time I make it I'll put the caramel layer on top, and I'll also eat less of it, another of life's lessons learned.
