When having soup do you always use a soup spoon?!

Question: Just curious I had soup for lunch and did use a soup spoon.

Answers: Just curious I had soup for lunch and did use a soup spoon.

Why yes, here at Greybeard Towers we always use the correct cutlery, Mrs GB wouldn't have it any other way! And of course, I always lift the soup up from the bowl, away from me, the opposite to when eating dessert

What's wrong with the bowl - no need for extra washing up

yep & i have bread

No, sometimes I have it in a mug and just sip.

We haven't got them just a desert spoon or tablespoon! Never a teaspoon.

yes i always do.

i use a fork. i find it lasts longer and helps to lose weight.

Do you mean to serve it or eat it? We use a tablespoon to serve and a dessert spoon to eat.

Of course.

I have used a soup spoon but also have used a tablespoon...both work just fine....

Of course!
A knife or fork wouldn't work as well! lol

I always use a teaspoon, never a soup spoon or tablespoon, for eating my soup.

I find it easier than using a fork!! Loadsa bread is a great help tae sook it up!!!!

nope

If I hav a soup spoon i'll use it, if not I won't. doesn't really make F all of a differance.

not really

Hi D, Yes when i eat soup , i do normally use a spoon. Have a lovely day D.

What in blazes would you use instead? A fork? I suppose if you didn't use a spoon you drank it from a cup... But - do you eat soup or sip it?
I mean, even the Japanese & Chinses eventually use a spoon to finsh off their soups.

No i just use a regular one. I don't think i have ever use my soup spoons. Their still new!

Yes unless I can't find one...then I just use a big dessert spoon! Soup spoons are great :)
