smoked eels

Have you tried a lamb roast?

I'm going to eat honey glazed ham! :-D

Because we are having a large crowd for Thanksgiving - 30+ people - we are making a Prime Rib with Yorkshire pudding and a ham as well as a turkey

my mom makes chicken just like the turkey and stuffs it.. even though we also have turkey because she knows me and my brother dont eat turkey.. anyway im also eating mashed potatoes.. my fav!!!!

Cornish Game Hens w/cornbread dressing...YUM ! Happy Thanksgiving.

Liver and onions. I have to add, the liver is from grass-fed cattle and the onions are organic. We use raw butter and wheat flour for the frying. We let the liver soak for 1 hour in raw milk.

The raw milk and raw butter give it a sweet flavor, and the onion (white) is naturally sweet. It's very healthy, too.

DELICIOUS!!!

I don't particularly care for turkey either, it's the other dishes that are served during thanksgiving that get me goin'

Some people eat lamb roasts, ham, chicken. I doubt if Asian cultures eat turkey for thanksgiving.

lolz.. this question reminds me of my friend.. her exact words:

"we don't eat turkey during thanksgiving, we eat Popeye's!"

We have a baked ham and a roast chicken because no one in my family likes turkey either. We do the yams and potato's and stuff to go with it still. One year we had take out!! The food is not important, its being with your family and what you are thankful for. And im always thankful we don't have to eat turkey!!

All the trimmings!

Grass-fed steaks. I adore turkey, but only our stovetop is working right now - so to appease, we sprung $15/lb for these steaks. They had better be really good.

You can eat whatever you like. My parents and family always do a traditional dinner, but my in-laws and I alternate between different foods. Sometimes turkey, ham and the trimmings, sometimes BBQing out with ribs and sausages or pulled pork with salads and slaws and grilled veggies, and sometimes an Indian feast with various combinations of goat, lamb, and shrimp, with lots of veggies and rices. As long as there's good food and family it doesn't matter what exactly the specifics are.

One of our family members is allergic to poultry, so even when we have a turkey, we always make some other meat dish as well, plus sides with no stock.

Turkey isn't one of my favourite foods, but I do like it on Thanksgiving and Xmas, just because of sentimentality.

Most likely pizza while watching football. We did our T-day last week because family was here from out of town.
