Why do people think bottled water is so cool when it has carcinogenic plasticizers and creates garbage galore?!

Bottled water is yet another fad. Most people don't even realize that many of the bottled water brands just fill their bottles with water from the tap and stick their label on it.

You can also add to your list the fact that it doesn't have to meet the same product safety standards as tap water does.
i think its mainly because of the fact that it is really convinient and i really dont think most people get bottled water because it looks cool...
I don't necessarily think it's cool, but I'm kinda glad that they do exist. I drink nothing but tap water at home but it's nice to grab a bottle of water instead of pop when I'm out and about. I've also heard that there isn't really any legislation regarding the bottling and where the water comes from?? Kinda scary!!
