Question: What is the difference between all the drinks at Starbucks like mochas and lattes and all those other coffee drinks with crazy names?

Answers: What is the difference between all the drinks at Starbucks like mochas and lattes and all those other coffee drinks with crazy names?

Well, I know this was partly answered above, but here is the rundown...

Cafe Americano: espresso shots with hot water (comparable to a strong cup of cofffee)

Mocha: espresso with mocha syrup, steamed milk, topped with whip cream

Latte: espresso with steamed milk, topped with foam

Cappuccino: espresso with 1/2 steamed milk, 1/2 foam. This one is for true coffee lovers! Don't be fooled by 'gas station' cappuccinos. Those are pure sugar.

Frappuccino: coffee base, blended with ice and flavor of your choice, topped with whip cream.

well, a latte has milk (i think they use soy milk though) and a mocha has mocha in it. expressos and cappuccinos are different ways to prepare a coffee. chai means tea in chinese (i forget which dialect).

if you try a strawberries and creme frappaccino (which i think is just a made-up name for 'frozen cappaccino') w/ a shot of hazelnut it taste just like crunchberries!

Latte - steamed milk with espresso.

Mocha - a latte with chocolate syrup.

Frappuchino - a blended, frozen drink made with espresso, frappuchino base, and ice. Typically flavored with a syrup, then topped with whipped cream.

Caramel Machiatto (Starbucks version, only) - a vanilla flavored Frappuchino, with caramel sauce drizzled on top of the whipped cream.

I guess you've never tried any of them.
