How to wean from soda's?!

Question: I was wondering has anyone ever 'weaned' themselves from soda's? Or did you just stop drinking them altogether?

Thank you.

Thank you.

I didn't let diet cokes go completely, but I did cut back tremendously. I used to drink like for or five a day, but now I may drink one a day. The best way to wean yourself is by gradually decreasing the amount of your intake. For example, if you drink 3 sodas a day, you may want to cut back to 2 for a few weeks. You will need to find a healthier replacement for the times you get thirsty though. I prefer water. When you get into the habit of drinking two, gradually decrease to one drink per day. To help, you may just get one 20oz drink and take small sips from it throughout the day. It will get better for you over time though. Your body will definitely thank you for it in the long run.

I stopped the sodas. After a few months I was evaporating them down to powder and freebasing the caffeine. Eventually the product was not pure enough and I began chewing the nodoze.

As I have gotten older, soda has become way less desirable (though I am a sucker for a good root beer). Try to find slightly healthier version or switch to good juice. I find 90% of the beverages on the market too sweet.

I've done it both ways, and unfortunately always gone back!!

If they are caffinated - I suggest weaning so you don't get the withdrawl headaches.
