Why are energy drinks unhealthy?!

Question: Many of them are purely sugar and caffeine. Too many people drink them when they exercise and the caffeine slows the body's ability to absorb water. Also excessive caffeine has been linked to problems like interrupted sleep, headache, anxiety and further problems like increased heart rate and blood pressure. And we all know why excess sugar is bad for you.

WAYY too much caffeine, sugar and the crap they put into that stuff (sometimes mild medicinal ingredients). It's hard on your system. I know because I used to be addicted to energy drinks. Yes, genuinely addicted. Except every time I drank one I never got "hyper" and I was always depressed and in the lows. Thank goodness I don't drink them anymore!

They have like 20 TBSP of sugar.
