Do you prefer coffee made in percolator or by the drip method?!


Question: drip method hands down, the other makes it taste burnt. my grandmother used the percolator. even while camping I got a antique drip one where you pour hot water in the top and it drips down really neat.

Actually none of those. I prefer a French Press. As long as the coffee is ground correctly, French Presses make the best tasting coffee.

But, if I had to choose between the 2 you said, I would pick drip. Percolators ruin the flavor and over-extract the coffee by all the reheating.

The best method is the Old Melita method invented in Europe in the 1920's.
Of course you must grind your beans fresh every day;
