I have two unopened cans of Red Bull with a 2/22/07 date on them. Are they still safe to drink?!

Question: I have two unopened cans of Red Bull with a 2/22/07 date on them. Are they still safe to drink? They haven't been exposed to heat or anything. Just been sitting in the back of my fridge, been nowhere else but there.

Yes, they're still safe to drink. They may not taste great.. but it's red bull... it doesn't taste that great to begin with. You probably won't even notice the difference.

If it's sugar free red bull, I would be a little more wary of it. Artificial sweeteners (especially aspartame) start tasting pretty awful pretty quickly after the expiration date.

yup

They are "safe" to drink, but they are gonna taste very bad. You won't get sick or die though...

im sure they'll be ok to drink, just be careful when you open them thats all

Does it say best before or use by?
If its best before then its still ok.
If its use by / expires then its not ok.

Sure, what could go bad in a carbonated sugary drink? It's not like it's a can of tuna fish.

won't hurt you, but dont sue me if they do!.. red bull is never good for you, at best of times!

While I wouldn't think that they would kill you or anything, I personally wouldn't risk it. Is it really worth getting sick over?

of course they are SAFE, that date is just tells you when the product is BEST by. the flavor may be a little off, other than that i dont see what would be wrong with them :)

Hey, be rationale...They've been expired for almost a year now...You might become a red bull if you drink them...

Be careful, energy drinks have been reported to cause rise in blood pressure.

Those are usually just "best if consumed by" I'm sure it will taste the same, and it definitely isn't dangerous just because it's been there a while. I've got a can of soda that has a "use by 04/08/03" lol, saving it just because it was fun. The carbonation does eventually go away though so it could be pretty flat. Other than that it should be fine.
