Is Ovaltine even actually good for you?!

Question: Like, really, as far as I can tell, it's nothing but tasty and powdery preservatives.

Answers: Like, really, as far as I can tell, it's nothing but tasty and powdery preservatives.

Ovaltine (Ovomahine), the original name, Latin for egg and malt, which was its main ingredients), is essentially a chocolate drink mix with malt extract and sometimes fortified with vitamins. So no I wouldn't say that it was good for you, just tasty.

It contains a lot of sugar.

ovaltine is very good for you, it has almost all the vitamins and minerals you need and fiber to boot and is pretty much the healthiest and cheapest way to make chocolate milk. It should say this in the nutrition information.

Yes, just ask Ralphie in the movie" A Christmas Story:) You'll shoot your eye out.
I grew up on it and still love it after all these years.
