Is there really any way you can make a coffee drink/latte that tastes like Starbucks?!

Question: Those Starbucks drinks are addictive. I highly doubt the great taste could be replicated for, say, a caramel frapuccino, caramel machiatto, cafe mocha, or gingerbread latte... But, has anyone had any success in making their own?

A Frappuccino is nearly impossible to replicate at home since we use our own ingredients to create our own base, which is used in a Frappuccino.
I know there are sites that give out recipes to drinks that are supposed to be like Frapps, but I doubt they are really accurate or tasty. I have yet to try any of these so-called recipes, but if you try one..let me know!

To make hot drinks similar to ours, you will need a good espresso machine. I also believe that a good barista makes a good drink, but the pricier the machine, the better job it will do on steaming milk and making espresso. Not even a great barista can make a $25 Mr. Coffee espresso machine make high quality drinks.

If you have a decent machine, you can buy our espresso beans. We use the exact same beans in our espresso drinks. You also can buy most of our syrups (my store doesn't sell gingerbread syrup, but your local one might). You also can buy our mocha powder, which is exactly what we use to make hot chocolates and mochas.

If you try hard enough, I am sure you could make a drink just as good or even better...best of luck!

Starbucks (and many of the coffee shops) use artificial flavoring in their drinks (that's why you can't exactly duplicate it).

Yes. First work there for a couple years, then get a home espresso maker and Viola! Starbucks at home.

I haven't tried. One reason is that I would never be able to pack so many calories in one cup and drink that and think "coffee".
I had a part of a cinnamon dulce in my refrigerator overnight. I looked at it and was disgusted by the droplets of oil on the top on the drink.

I think that I could make a good low calorie
tasty coffee drink at home. It wouldn't be Starbucks but it could be potential addictive, except for the time needed.
I have a little stovetop Moka maker that makes good coffee.

I've tried makin the frappacino once...it was okay.
i just brewed some coffee, added a lot of sugar, some milk (about half the amount of coffee, maybe a little more), and stuck it in the refridgerator for about 7 hours (after it'd cooled i put it in a sealable contained). I took it out and added the caramel syrup you can get from regular grocery stores, stirred and shook it up really nice, and put it in a glass filled bout halfway with ice, added whip cream.....it was pretty tasty! but not the same quality of course....

I wish...

I'm sorry, burnt is not a flavor I like.
However I can make a drink that will make you slap the blond behind the counter at Charbucks. It's called Real Fresh Roasted Coffee.
