Most of teh time, 3 gallons won't kill you. Maybe like 8 or 10 gallons- That's a lot of water!!!

Your body can't process that much that quickly! What if you ate 70 burritos? Your body can't process all of that food THAT quickly. It would totally alter your body's PH level- which could ultimately kill you.

it gets backed up and you drown on it.

Sorry, I don't have a lot of time to give a detailed answer, but if you Google "water toxicity" or look it up in Wikipedia, I think you'll find all the answers you're looking for.

Your body cannot process too much water at a time. You need to drink it over the course of the day to stay hydrated. You have to get rid of the wastes of course. If you drink too much the body doesn't have time to process it and you will die of Hyponatremia.

Drinking water is ok no matter how much you drink. Although, if you drink too much at one time, you'll choke. If you drink to little you'll die. If you do NOT g to the bathroom after drinking gallons of water, you can DIE. I'm seriouse.

Wow, i din't know you could die if you drank a gallon all at once.

its the amount off time your body takes to absorb and process the water which makes it harmful, too much consumption causing you to drown.

Death by drowning springs to mind (excuse the pun)

well, it(the water) thins your blood too much if you drink it too fast, and your blood wont carry the right amount of nutrients to your brain, causing it to shut down
ok, there are 24 hrs in a day, and 3 divided by 24 is really small, whereas, 1 divided by 1 is not nearly as small

I think that drinking too much water makes the water seer (penetrates) the walls of your stomach because of the weight of the water.

Drinking a lot of water over a period of time is not as fatal because the water is not putting all the force of its weight on your stomach at one time.

But i don't suggest drinking 3 gallons a water over the course of the day because it will make you very sick, possibly hospitalized.

Cheers, Sam :)
