Technically the most caffeinated brands you can get are the disgusting types of coffee that you get at Wal-Mart ie..Folgers, Maxwell House, etc.
That is because they are Robusta coffees. Robusta types are grown at a lower altitude and are not roasted as long. The longer the roast, the less the caffeine.

Since you are a Starbucks addict, I am going to tell you to get the mildest blend they have--Breakfast Blend. It contains the most caffeine out of all the blends since the Breakfast Beans haven't been roasted as long. However, even the mild won't contain as much caffeine as a Folgers extra bold. (Starbucks coffees are Arabica--grown at a higher altitude).
For extra buzz, try a shot in the dark. That is a shot of espresso in a cup of coffee. Also called a Red Eye, although usually baristas will put 2 shots in your coffee if you order a Grande or bigger. That is one caffeinated drink!

Also..FYI... a shot of espresso has slightly less caffeine than a 12 oz cup of coffee.

A good, strong espresso!

I buy Dunken Donuts nuts Coffee! I love it!!!

Not sure which coffee has the most caffeine .... but if you want to get the most out of your coffee, get a french press. I like that kona coffee from millstone. Very smooth. I grind my own. A french press will give you the full body of the coffee ..... And a nice jolt.

Its not quite as intense as expresso but damn close.

enjoy :)

Okay - big lesson time...

There is very little caffeine in espresso or espresso roast coffee. Caffeine is extracted from coffee beans by means of "liquid" water in contact with the coffee. When you make espresso you have "steam" in contact with the coffee.

Also, roasting the coffee "cooks" out the caffeine, so the lightest possible roast is the most caffeinated.

So then why is espresso so strong tasting? It's the acids and the coffee oils - these are concentrated by the roasting process and they are extracted from the coffee much more efficiently by steam.

So, anyone who thinks a quad espresso wakes them up; well they are just fooling themselves.

Hey Dr. Caffeine is bad for your health....LOL.

Edit: should I list the bad effects of caffeine and coffee? LOL.
