Lemon with water?!
i need to find a way to convince my boss to stop serving lemons with everything.
if i were a water maker (san pelegrino, fiji, whatever) I would be insulted if you put a lemon in my product.
shouldn't it taste good on it's own?
Answers: this is really P'ing me off... I don't want lemon in my water (tap, bottled, whatever)

yes
tell your boss you have a citric acid sensitivity
tell your boss the acid from the lemons is damaging to your teeth enamel and you would like to keep your pearly whites pearly.
Have you tried saying:
"I don't need a lemon, thank-you."
Or how about:
"No lemon for me, please."
Then there's the classic:
"I'll get a water straight-up."
(I get you, Bosses can be BRUTAL sometimes).
tell you boss sir i need only water thanks
Just tell your boss that not everyone likes lemon in their water. Maybe make it an option or put the lemon slice in a small dish on the side. It's hard to answer this question because we don't know if you work in an office or a restaurant or a bar. Giving that information may get you better ideas on how to handle the boss.
Take the lemon out of the water when you get it?
I personally really like lemon in my water, sorry!
Your boss needs to ask if the person wants lemon in their water, not just take it upon himself to do it. Some people like a wedge of lemon, and they will ask if they want one.
Tell your boss nicely that you prefer plain water, i used to allways get served flavord water of lemon water, then i explained how i didnt like it. Just try not to insult the fact that he likes lemons in his water, don't say it's stupid or anything. Maybe say, could i have plain water this time?
