Is it possible to make most eggnog recipes without the rum or what not?!

Question: Absolutely! Here's one:

4 eggs, separated
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. or 1 qt. milk
Ground nutmeg to taste
Beat egg yolks until thick and light. Add Eagle Brand milk, salt, vanilla, nutmeg, and milk, mix well. Beat egg whites until soft peak stage; gently fold into milk mixture; chill; serve. Best if you chill for 24 hours first. Use large bowls.
~~~~~~~~
And another:
6 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. sugar
6 c. milk (whole or 2%)
1/2 tsp. salt
6 c. Half and Half cream
2 tbsp. vanilla
Sprinkle nutmeg
Mix all ingredients in a blender. Enjoy!
~~~~~~~~
If you like, you can add a teaspoon of imitation rum extract for added flavor.

Yes. I have eggnog in my fridge right now that does not have any alcohol in it at all.

My suggestion would be to find your local Quality Chekd Dairy and look for one with no Rgbh (growth hormone). Won't cost you much, will taste great and support a local business.
