What is your secret to brewing really good coffee?!
Coffee causes more liver damage than plutonium but temporarily reduces ones appetite, energizes, and encourages small muscle growth.
It is rumored that coffee in most fast-food restaurants and convenience stores (ie, McDonald's, Dunkin' Donuts, Sheetz, 7-11, and your very own kitchen cupboard) can be made by mixing two highly toxic ingredients: hot water and "100% Arabica Beans." This combination creates a mixture so deadly that the employees at all of the convenience stores/places of breakfasting will not touch the liquid which they so willingly sell to their customers. This explains two phenomena: why people do not drink coffee from their own kitchen cupboards, and why the employees at these establishments always seem unaware.
Answers: The secret to unlocking the best flavor of coffee is classified by the CAA, or Central Assassination Agency (not to be confused with the people who couldn't even kill Castro). All notes below are not to be read, lest Peewee Herman murder you on the United States government's behalf.

Buying an expensive (industrial) coffee machine and getting the measurements just right (along with purified water).
This sounds crazy, but start off w/a really good brew, then shred a little fresh orange peel and a tablespoon of sugar and brew. The orange gives a little kick and the sugar takes a little bit of the bitterness off....Fantastic!
Pick a good coffee bean - no artificial flavors, just pure good, rich bean. (I like Colombian or southern Mexican.) Grind it yourself right before you brew. If you're using the regular kitchencounter coffee maker (or the old fashioned stovetop model), take a stick of dry cinamon, crunch it up in your fingers, and put it in with the coffee grinds. The cinamon flavor melds in with the coffee as it brews.
Freshly opened package of coffee brewed with bottled water. Double good if done in a perculator on the stove top (or camp fire.) YUM!
Using a good quality bean is first and foremost. My grandmother always measured out her scoops and then gave one extra "for the pot". Don't really understand the rationale, but it works. Everyone loves my brewed coffee.
My favorite beans are Trader Joe's Mexican Double Dark, Starbucks Espresso Blend, Italian Blend, or Breakfast blend. If I am at the supermarket, Folgers is the best of the bunch.
I’ve had my Senseo machine for over a year. Love it! Don’t even touch my regular coffee maker.
1) Finding a good roasted fresh coffee
2) experiment around how strong I like it
3) brew one cup at a time
4) use filtered water
I don't think it takes a fancy coffee maker to make good coffee. If you are on your own a #2 coffee cone with filter paper and a mug will make you a great cup of coffee. It is easy and fast. Best of all if you travel a lot you can still make your coffee in your hotel room this way.
I do have an espresso maker and love it. It makes it even easier to make a good cup of coffee as it kind of has a portion control for coffee.
Good beans
Good water

This the first "how to" site I saw. I sure there are many others.
I have a french press I use daily and it was less then $20... it is three years old. I have replaced the plunger twice.
FYI: www.tinyurl.com is a free site that reduces a long URL to something manageable. The URL above started at 95 characters.
Cuisinart Grind and Brew! It's the best coffee maker out there! And use good, fresh beans. COLD water -- it has the best flavor, and the machine heats it to the right temp.
1.Clean Pot & Coffee Machine
2.Filtered Water
3.Fresh Roasted Beans(grind yourself each time you make a pot)Keep Beans in airtight container in refrigerator, stays freshier that way.
