Is it possible for bottled ginger beer to go bad?!

Question: I bought some non-alcoholic ginger beer from World Market and it tastes like it's fermented or something. It's by the company The Ginger People and has real pieces of ginger in it. So, if a bottle of ginger beer with real ginger in it is old enough, can it start fermenting or going bad?

yes it has yeast as an ingreiant and spoils in a fairly short time.
