I can't recommend tea bags, but if you are determined, I recommend www.twoleavesandabud.com. For flavor, this tea bag is very good, relatively.

If you want to try whole leaf tea, you are going to have some trouble in and around Phoenix, and really the whole state. Try www.tributetea.com or www.floatingleaves. com for some of the best whole leaf oolongs available in the states. I buy from both.

Ouch. I used to live in Prescott, but Payson is that small town where I want to eventually end up. Luckily, we've had stores like Cost Plus for international items, if our local grocery stores (Basha's or even Wal-mart, Costco, etc...) didn't carry what I was looking for. You should also check out the health/vegetarian food stores, especially the ones that hippies flock to. And I never found it rude to ask an ethnic Chinese person (maybe even Indian) on the street, as it comes as a surprise delight to them. Just ask the right person in the area. Many are small business owners willing to help you out. If no luck, you should take the drive down to 99 Ranch Market (at the Chinese Cultural Center) there in Phoenix , which is more than likely to be there. Good luck.
