Does anybody else's grandmother eat peanuts in there Pepsi? And why?!

Question: Back when I was a kid I did. Coke tasted different then, it had more of a carmel syrup flavor, and it was only 10 cents a bottle. Peanuts did something for the flavor, the salt...It was good.

grose

Mine Does, she said kids in her time did it, and it helps her digestion!!!

my brother used too. I never liked it. But something about the salt in the nuts enhancing the flavor

(he also ate peanut butter on his pizza so not my best resource)

No, but I have a friend that does it. She said it gives pepsi a "better" flavor. I have NO idea what she's talking about, but I am not interested in trying it at all. She also said that "everybody" likes it like that.

never heard of it. but everyone has different tastes in food.

nope but i'll ask her about it

No, but my aunt likes peanuts in her grape soda. I've tried it and needless to say, it tastes pretty good.

Yeah, my husbands mom and grandma do it. His brother and grandpa also put cornbread in their milk.

I am a grandma and back in my highschool days we put salted peanuts in our bottle (a must) of pepsi. i can't explain it, but you have to try it to know the taste. been a while, but i liked it then.
