Poll:ever tried soda with mentos?!

Question: how's it feels like in your tummy?

Answers: how's it feels like in your tummy?

If you ate 2 wholes packs of Mentos and drank 2 liters of Diet Coke it wouldn't do anything except make you sick from all of the sugar. The reaction between Mentos and Diet Coke happens because of the surface of the Mentos and not from a reaction to something IN the Mentos. If you ate them, the surface would not be the same and thus would not have the foaming reaction.

i never have. doesn't sound that good though.

No, I thought it would fizz out and make a big mess.

Oh, not that way. My daughter did the experiment in the bottles as a science project one year--to see which would explode higher between Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite.

We didn't have the dramatic results they showed on YouTube or Mythbusters, but she did get an "A" on the project!

It depends on how much you have, if you only have a little, it feels kind of neat. But please note, having a half a package and chugging most of a 2-liter bottle of diet coke WILL make you throw up foam. Painful as *****

I thought this soda-mentos phenomenon was old news. No, I've never eaten this combo but I've done the bottle trick before.

I have chewed mentos and drank soda and nothing really seems to happen but I didnt swallow them whole so I don't know.

Never tried it, but I don't think I ever will

Basically you will blow a hole if your stoach or blow your head off if you have too many mentos w/ the soda. If you only have a couple it just feels like fizzing in your tummy

My son wants to try it but I saw on MythBusters that it can actually make your stomach burst

it would probably **** you up judging from what ive seen on videos.
